And so it begins....

I got my "Mastering the Art of French Cooking" in the mail today! Whoo-hoo! This makes me very excited to begin reading through the recipes and get a grocery list together. As I begin to peruse this large book, I notice that not only is it a cookbook, but also a very good cooking guide. Julia's directions are so easy to understand, and I think that anyone would be able to cook fabulous meals simply by following her directions.

Perhaps my favorite part of this book is all of the French in it. Having taken French for a couple of years in high school, and practicing it with Cassandra while she took French, many of the terms have come back to me. I enjoy reading French, and I can understand a good deal of it.

So I guess I need to figure out a name for this blog. Since I'm not that creative, I think I will solicit help from my friends. Feel free to give me suggestions!
